Fluency (assigned on an individual basis)
Use the Amplify Reading link available on our Schoology course. Aim for 20 minutes of practice each night for best results. The website is able to track the number of minutes spent practicing and completed sub-skills.
Reading
Each night, your child will read for at least 20 minutes. If your child would like to read a book of his/her own choosing, s/he may complete the online reading log here. I will be able to see the timestamp for each entry. Your child may also access books using his/her account on epic! The link is available on Schoology.

Vocabulary and Spelling
Every week, your child will receive a new list of vocabulary and spelling words. Students will complete various in-class assignments throughout the week in their spelling journals.
Here are the spelling assignments:
Monday - pretest
Tuesday - alphabetize words
Wednesday - write words 3 times each
Thursday - sort words into categories (see Monday's spelling homework for help with categorizing)
Friday - test
Mathematics
Each night, your child will review the daily math concepts by completing the assigned pages in his/her Eureka Math Succeed book. Please note that the homework assignment is usually front and back.
The workbook must be brought to school everyday in order for your child to correct homework.
